Genetic testing for maculopathy

Genetic testing for maculopathy allows assessing the genetic risk of onset or progression of macular degeneration. Knowing if the genetic risk is present allows us to develop therapeutic strategies that can prevent the loss of visual function.

The test is performed with a simple buccal swab, in a quick, non-invasive and painless manner.
