A-scan ultrasound biometer

It is a computerized ultrasound piece of equipment that, through the detection of the anteroposterior length of the eyeball, allows the calculation of the intraocular lens to be implanted during cataract removal surgery.

It can be used in cases where the optical system with the IOL Master is not able to detect data due to an excessive opacity of the crystalline lens.
